Types of Travel Protection Insurance:

• Comprehensive Trip Protection: coverage that can protect the cost of your trip should it be canceled or interrupted, as well as travel medical expenses, emergency medical evacuation, trip delay (including eligible quarantine expenses), lost baggage, plus optional Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) coverage.

• Travel Medical: Travel Medical plans include all benefits of a “Hospital of Choice” Medical Evacuation plan, plus protects you for emergency accident and sickness medical expenses, while traveling 150 miles or more from home. This plan also provides Trip Delay benefits, for reimbursement of additional costs if your trip is delayed due to quarantine, a natural disaster, or other covered perils.

• Medical Evacuation: Plan that brings you to your home hospital of choice if you are hospitalized while traveling or even residing for an extended period, 150 miles or more from home, and your condition warrants a medical transport. TME's Medical Evacuation plan does not restrict transport to the ‘Nearest Suitable Facility’.
